MERABI Bridal Escape: An Intimate Bordeaux Celebration
This week, we welcomed our first brand trip of the year, a carefully curated bridal getaway for an intimate group of brides-to-be in the captivating region of Bordeaux, France.
Joining Team MERABI were a group of brides-to-be: fashion, travel, and lifestyle influencer Pat Chaveesak, TV personality Jasmine Nguyen, and content creators Ana Marlene, Vanessa Blair, and Sophie Knight. Together, we celebrated the excitement of their upcoming weddings in a stunning château.

After a morning flight from London to Bordeaux, the experience began as soon as our guests arrived at the Château. The girls settled in and changed into their first MERABI look, the DARCIE White Pyjamas, styled with heels of their choice. Their rooms were prepared ahead of their arrival complete with their outfits for the trip, embroidered beauty bags filled with bridal essentials from Space NK, welcome notes, and personalised touches. Once ready, they were greeted with a glass of champagne and a family-style lunch in the dining room.
After lunch, guests put on their embroidered MERABI aprons and enjoyed a cooking demonstration led by the head chef, discovering some of the flavours and techniques that make French cuisine so special. The girls loved this experience, which felt reminiscent of a wedding menu tasting; sampling dishes, discovering new flavours, and imagining how each might appear on their big day. In the evening, everyone slipped into their second MERABI look, ready for a three-course dinner: wild sea bream tartare to start, beef in cider for the main, and a decadent chocolate fondant to finish. The night was spent sharing wedding plans and toasting to an exciting new chapter.
Throughout the trip, guests dressed in all-white pieces from our most recent Bridal ‘26 collection. From playful bridal mini dresses to modern co-ord tailoring and elegant floor-length silhouettes, the wardrobe reflected the many moments that surround a wedding celebration. Our signature tulip minis offered a confident, celebratory feel, perfect for receptions and after-parties. Our iconic CHARLOTTE trousers paired with corset tops showcase a more contemporary take on bridal dressing, perfect for day-time events. For more formal moments, guests also wore a selection of our refined midi and maxi dresses, crafted with delicate sheer mesh and sequin detailing, designed with civil ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, and bridal events in mind. Together, the looks captured the versatility of the MERABI bride and the different ways she chooses to celebrate her wedding journey.
Day two began with a relaxed room service continental breakfast, before a trip to the vineyards, which was only right when visiting Bordeaux. The girls spent the afternoon tasting the region’s finest wines and enjoying the stunning scenery along the way. The tour guided each of the girls through four vintages of Château Fleur Cardinale. After an afternoon of tasting and toasting, the group enjoyed lunch at the vineyard before heading back to the château to get ready for the final evening meal.
In the evening, they experienced a five-course tasting menu with carefully paired wines, guided by the chef and sommelier for a truly memorable culinary experience. The evening was filled with toasts, bridal details, and moments they won't forget, the perfect way to round off the trip. The girls spoke about how incredible they felt in each of their MERABI pieces, each one perfectly suited to a different moment of the celebration across the trip.
