To help deliver this vision Nadine partnered with Blue Wilson, an international business graduate with over 10 years of experience building multi-million pound global DTC brands with a focus on eCommerce. Nadine and Blue have grown MERABI from £2m in revenues in 2020 to £16m in 2021 and they have ambitious objectives to delight millions of clients in the UK and internationally over the next decade. 

NADINE MERABI’s objective is to grow to over £100m, profitably while retaining its market-beating client satisfaction by 2025. We believe this is possible by building a solid foundation for growth in our technology, insight, and operations and creating greater demand from significant investment in product and brand innovation, performance marketing, and most importantly, incredible people. PURPOSE OF ROLE

You will be responsible for building best in class relationships with all MERABI talent and media, creating unforgettable brand stories. Working within the Brand Marketing Team, you will lead the PR and Events team, building partnerships with all press, media, talent, and publications. You will embed MERABI into the coolest events globally and support the wider brand team with executing our Global Marketing Strategy.

The successful candidate would be one of our first hires in our brand new London office. You will support Nadine Merabi in building out an incredible, talented team in this location, whilst building strong relationships with our wider Marketing Teams at our Head Office in Manchester.

ABOUT YOU

You are passionate about all things PR, have a natural flare for storytelling, excellent writing skills, and thrive on building incredible partnerships across the PR sector. You have an entrepreneurial spirit, are self motivated with a strategic mindset and someone who can ‘spot an opportunity from a mile’. 

You will be based in either Greater Manchester or London, and able to commute regularly to our Head Office based in Manchester to support the wider Marketing Team. 

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for creating and executing Nadine Merabi’s best in class Global PR strategy.
• Day-to-day ownership of overall PR and Events strategy and implementation, including end-to-end co-ordination (planning, creating, testing, reporting) of all activity.
• Building long standing partnerships with key journalists, partners, publications, and industry spokespeople. 
• Managing celebrity influencer and brand ambassador relationships and activity associated with them. 
• Lead and mentor the PR team, assisting with their day to today and personal development. 
• Proactively develop news angles, stories, and pitches to further our MERABI name and profile.
• Have a keen eye and voice in the industry to create unforgettable MERABI moments.
• Leading our influencer, affiliate and brand ambassador programming.
• Contributing and implementing unique ideas for press events and product launches.
• Assisting on wider communications strategy both internally and externally.
• Writing stand-out press releases, blogs, case studies, awards, ads, and other print media.
• Utilise insight and tracking tools in order to provide editorial trends, consumer trends, competitive analysis and performance analysis and translate these into actionable insights.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years in aPR/Events role, ideally in a high-growth fashion or lifestyle brand. 
• 5+ years’ experience in leading and developing teams greater than 5+ colleagues.  
• Established name in the PR sector and strong relationships within fashion and wider media.
• Excellent knowledge of the influencer landscape and how to activate top-tier influencers/celebrities across media outlets.
• A confident pitcher with proven coverage results selling in stories to national press outlets. 
• A global mindset, with experience operating outside of just UK market.
• Very creative with a keen eye for detail. 
• A strong history of end-to-end Events Management, ideally operating within both small and large budgets. 
• Be solution oriented, have a point of view and offer recommendations for how to achieve the goals and strategies. 
• Significant experience in copy-writing for a variety of media and communications.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Team player who thrives on collaboration.
• Strong ability to work to brief, plan, organise and establish own work priorities to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to react quickly to market trends and current affairs with unique forms of communication.
• Fluent in spoken and written English. 
• Ability to travel internationally as required.
