Disappointed

This was my 1st purchase from NM and it’s completely put me off the brand. I bought the dress for a formal night on an Atlantic crossing. The dress is ridiculously heavy so it had to go in my hand luggage. As I danced, pieces flew off the dress and scattered on the dance floor causing slip hazards for the ballroom dancers. The weight of the dress is not matched with sturdy straps, the straps stretch during wearing and surprisingly there’s no way of adjusting them and making them shorter like one would with a bra strap. At the end of the evening I had deep welts on my shoulders from the weight of the dress. I’m a tall high street size 12 and the 12 felt too big and just a bit too long, especially when the straps got longer. The fringes around the back ribs under the shoulders, kept jumping inside the top of the back of the dress, it felt weird. I have many sequinned dresses, some are heavy but this did not work for me at all.

Please understand as advised via email, this is a heavily beaded style and can sometimes lose beads. This is why a bead bag is provided to replace any missing beads. We also advise you to use caution with a heavily beaded style as it is very delicate.

Perfect Birthday Night Out Dress!

Wore this for my birthday at a Hollywood club and got so many compliments on it all night! So swingy and fun, and looks beautiful with any light on it, although you will shed a lot of beads and sequins most likely. There was a bit of a trail wherever we went that night 🤣 I love that there was a S/M size option as my current measurements were right there in the middle, and it fit perfectly. I didn’t want to wear a strapless bra but I did want my girls to be more lifted so I used one strip of boob tape to have some lift. Shipping was fast to California! Thank you, so glad I found this designer brand!
